Unfortunately, I am among the minority of the blogging community that is actually horrible at taking well-composed photographs and then editing said photographs in a way which displays the beauty of the subject. No, instead, I am one of those poor souls that just turns their Point and Shoot to the macro setting and hopes that the pictures turn out nicely.
Nevertheless, I have arduously spent roughly 30 seconds on each picture to compose the shot, snap the photo, and then apply heavier saturation in iPhoto (not to mention the impressive effort put into blurring the edges).
Note the artfully blurred background. Inspiring.
